Marsha Goff serves as Executive Vice President of Originations at Merchants Capital, where she is responsible for affordable and workforce multifamily debt loan originations and the development of Minneapolis – St. Paul loan originators; she also works closely with the Merchants Tax Credit Equity team to structure equity solutions for LIHTC transactions. She is a member of the MCC Strategic Planning Committee; backup member of the GSE Credit Committee; and advisor to GSE Underwriting, Processing and Closing and Asset Management Departments.
Ms. Goff has extensive experience managing all underwriting platforms; she previously served as Head of Risk Management, HUD Chief Underwriter and GSE Chief Underwriter. She is a HUD-Approved MAP Underwriter, a Designated Member (MAI) of the Appraisal Institute, and she has underwritten or overseen more than $7 billion in complex multifamily loan originations.
Ms. Goff was named the 2022 Minnesota Real Estate Journal Mortgage Broker / Banker of the Year and sits on The Ramsey County (MN) Special Board of Appeal and Equalization. She graduated from Saint Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Finance and Organizational Speech Communications.
