Brandon Conway

Brandon Conway serves as Executive Vice President at Merchants Capital, where he leads the firm’s Tax Credit Equity Asset Management platform. With more than 20 years of experience in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) industry, Brandon is recognized for his strategic leadership, deep technical expertise, and collaborative approach to managing complex portfolios.

Before joining Merchants Capital, Brandon spent 15 years at CREA, where he held several senior roles across asset and portfolio management and dispositions. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Special Assets. In that role, he worked closely with developers and investors to navigate challenges within troubled assets, delivering creative solutions and measurable outcomes. His broader experience spans leadership roles managing market-rate, LIHTC, and senior housing portfolios.

Brandon’s leadership comes at a pivotal time for Merchants Capital, as the firm’s equity platform approaches $2.5 billion under management. His proven track record and industry insight position him to drive continued growth and innovation across the asset management function.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences from Ball State University.
