Ms. Sharp leads the tax credit equity platform at Merchants Capital and is responsible for raising private equity from institutional investors for tax advantaged equity funds primarily comprised of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects. Prior to joining Merchants in March 2020, Ms. Sharp served as Assistant Vice President of Syndications and Investor Relations at a national tax credit equity syndicator where she was involved in structuring, raising capital, and closing more than $1 Billion in equity investments through private placements, multi-investor funds, and secondary fund offerings. Ms. Sharp Graduated from Ball State University’s Miller College of Business with a degree in Accounting and Economics. She serves on the board of the Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition in Washington, D.C., and the Indiana chapter of the Women’s Affordable Housing Network.
