Marsha Goff

Marsha Goff serves as Executive Vice President of Originations at Merchants Capital, where she is responsible for affordable and workforce multifamily debt loan originations and the development of Minneapolis–Saint Paul loan originators. Ms. Goff also works closely with the Merchants Tax Credit Equity team to structure equity solutions for LIHTC transactions. She is a member of the Merchants Capital Strategic Planning Committee; backup member of the GSE Credit Committee; and advisor to GSE Underwriting, Processing and Closing, and Asset Management Departments.

Ms. Goff has extensive experience managing all underwriting platforms, previously serving as Head of Risk Management, HUD Chief Underwriter and GSE Chief Underwriter. She is a HUD-Approved MAP Underwriter, a Designated Member (MAI) of the Appraisal Institute, and has underwritten or overseen more than $7 billion in complex multifamily loan originations.

Ms. Goff was named the 2022 Minnesota Real Estate Journal Mortgage Broker / Banker of the Year and sits on The Ramsey County (MN) Special Board of Appeal and Equalization. She graduated from Saint Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Finance and Organizational Speech Communications.
